Which Unisex Names do you like?
I personally don't like unisex names. Ever notice how these names started out as exclusively 'boy' names, then parents used them for girls ... then for a period they're considered 'unisex' but after a few years no boys' parents use those names anymore, and they become 'girl' names exclusively.

Think of other great names this has happened to:

Courtney

Ashley

Cary

Leslie

Addison

Grayson

Lynn

Riley

I feel badly for the little boys who are given names that end up being more commonly used for girls. They are teased and called 'girls' and 'sissies' and I think that stinks!

Pretty soon the only boy name left will be John.
Reply:Ones I consider girls only:

Sage

sydney

Taylor (Taylor for a girl, Tayler for a boy)

Morgon

Quinn (Quinton for a boy)

Boys only:

Jordon

Tayler

Both:

Avery

Alex (Alexandra/Alexander)

Taylor/Tayler

My favorites are Sage(so pretty, and feminine) Quinn/Quinton (my cousin and grandpa), Taylor, and Avery.

i dont like the name jordan at all.

i like quinn better for a boy

and sydney and taylor tend to be more girly.

i have a step-son named madison and i also like that for both sex's.
Reply:Taylor and Jordan
Reply:The only one I'd consider giving a girl is Alex as a diminutive of Alexis or Alexandra.

For a boy; Alex as a diminutive for Alexander, Morgan at a pinch, and maybe Sydney (but it's VERY dated)

Sorry but all the others are horrid.
Reply:Jordan and Morgan
Reply:I like Avery and Quinn!!
Reply:Jordan %26amp; Taylor

The others don't really sound like they go both ways.

Boys: Alex, Quinn

Girls: Avery, Sage, Morgan, Sydney
Reply:sage/taylor
Reply:Alex and Jordan are the only ones on your list I think of as truly unisex. All other ones have become so popular for girls that I would be almost startled to see a male Sydney or Morgan...

Here are a few other unisex names I like. I think they work equally well for a boy or girl:

Jamie

Riley

Blake

Elliott ("Ellie" as a nickname for a girl)

Devon

Reply:I like Jordan, Taylor, amd Alex. The rest soung a little too girly though. Good Luck with your baby!
Reply:I think they can be cool, but I never really liked the name Tracy for a guy (No offense to any guys named Tracy!). I think Kelly Ryan is a nice name for a girl, and Jordan is pretty too.
Reply:Jordan and Taylor.
Reply:Though they are unisex I only like them for one gender is some cases!
