I have a unisex name and people will email me as Mr. instead of Ms. How do I correct them politely?

All of this is via email with clients in other countries. Is it better to just let it slide?

How about changing your outgoing name in your email to "Ms.X" instead of just your name

-it's Ms. ____. People mistake me for Mr. ___ i understand due to my unisex name, no worries i completely understand

when you correct someone let them know its all right, be polite and respectful, you should not let it slide, it's not the correct thing to do

correct them but let them know its all right

i hope this helps

Reply:Before sending out mails or e-mail always include a 'MS' in your name, however if you didn't write first then reply as understanding as you can. People makes mistakes because of ignorance. Let them know that you're a girl. =D
Reply:just say, " ermm, i'm sorry if dis offense u, but i'm actually a female"
Reply:my name is often mistaken for a mans............in e mail business.. i do not use any ms. mrs, or miss......it's business....i prefer the privacy
Reply:Tell them your not a female and to stop making stupid comments.
