Recently I've been thinking about all the masculine sounding names, that are being used on baby girls, when there are plenty of really pretty, femimine names for the parents to choose from. I've only got a few favourite unisex names for girls, but, what I want to know is what unisex names can you not stand on girls. Here are a select few of mine that really make me want to scream:

Bailey (I think it's ok for a female puppy or something)
Avery (It sounds girly to me even though I don't care for the name) And Jaden (I prefer it for a girl rather than a boy.)
Sydney (I think it's more feminine sounding than masculine.)

I was reading these and thinking "What the heck!" I cannot believe these are unisex. Almost every single one is so extremely masculine sounding. There were some I didn't put because they were ridiculous and I don't support them as names (like Teenie for instance).On the contrast,I also found some very feminine names. You should ask another question like this one except ask people what unisex names they can't stand for boys.

Reply:I don't see why you would post. It is kind of mean to bash someones name. Its your opinion and blah blah blah but its mean. I love unisex names. I think they are very adorable when paired with a girly middle name. I love your whole list minus Wallace, that is definitely just for a boy. Its a fine name though. I also love Clark and Carson for a girl.
Reply:Out of you list, I don't mind Quinn, Cameron, Avery, Dylan, Hayden, Sydney or Shane on a girl. The rest annoy me. Some of them I don't like full stop. Bailey was my childhood dog so the name just reminds me of a really large black Great Dane/Labrador cross.

Reply:I like unisex names. Just not the really masculine sounding ones, i.e. Mason, Logan, Spencer, and Tyler. My daughter name is Rylee Dakota and they are both unisex names. I think it is a cute name.
Reply:well I hate pretty much every name you listed! I hate them on girls but i like them on boys, especially Hayden, Spencer and Ryan.
The only 2 names i kinda like on girls are Riley and Casey.
