What are some unisex names that you think should just stick to one gender?

I think some parents have gone too far with giving their children names of the opposite gender because they think that it's cute.

I think some names that should stick to boys are:

Dylan

Devin

Blake

Riley

Charlie

Bobby

Dakota

And names that should stick with girls are:

Mackenzie

Kim

There are more... but what are your opinions?

What are some unisex names that you think should just stick to one gender?
I don't think any of these are unisex and are all horrid on girls:

Aubrey

Madison "Son of Maude"

Addison "Son of Adam"

Emerson "Son of Emery"

Jameson "Son of James"

Riley

Bailey

Taylor (Tailors were always male)

Dylan

Devin

Cameron

Blake

Kelly

Hayden

Peyton

Reagan

Teagan (Anglicized form of the Gaelic boy's name Tadghan)

Whitney

Harper

Harlow

Marley

Ainsley

Frances / Francis

Kendall

Elliot

Emery

Avery

Aaron

Skyler / Schuyler / Sky

Ashton

Cody

Jesse

Hunter

Tyler

Carson

Jude

Shannon

Logan

Tristan

Micah

Ezra

Delaney

Lane

Lux

August

Greer

Jasper

Kai

Noah

Reese / Reece / Rhys

Shane

Ray

Shay / Shae

All Mac names. Mac means Son of.
Reply:I totally agree with you. Even for names that started out as boys names but have become entirely girls names, I think they should remain girls names now.

Stick to the boys;

Dylan

James

Blake/Blaise

Skyler/Schuyler

Elliott

Austin

Ashton

Cody/Coby

Grayson

Charlie [Unless it's a nickname]

Hunter

Tyler

Stick to the girls;

Rory

Aubrey

Brynn/Wynne

Carol

Evelyn

Cassidy

Kenzie

Lindsey

Lux

Meredith

Vivienne

Ariel

Ashley

Reply:Yes, I agree! Can you imagine having a name that could be either and someone going "is that a boy or a girl"? Some are OK, but these ones should stick with their original gender.

These are the ones which I think should remain only in that category (boy/girl)

Girl

Mackenzie

Taylor

Jodie

Kim

Ashley

Courtney

Peyton

Boy

Blake

Charlie

Riley

Bailey

Kyle

Cameron (spelt this way, Camryn's OK for a girl)

Francis

Jamie

Brett

Reply:i agree, though I like Dakota and Riley for girls. and Blake like Blake lively should really be a boy, i'd agree with you on that one. I've never met a girl named Charlie, thats my dads name. kim i thought was always a girls name. i shudder at a boy being named kim... wierd haha

my name is strict girl at least i think (: (shayna)

some more

my sister kelly, a boy waiter was named kelly which was wierd

kyle (there is a ***** in my school named kyle) things like aaron, for girls aryn, or jaden, i think is more of a boys name but my adopted cousin has it (: i can't really think of any more, the nickname Alex though I think is suitable
Reply:I think Dylan and Ryan should stick as guy names, though I really don't care if they are girl names.... I mean, I'm not one that's bugged by unisex names... only slightly when boys have names like Logan and Kelly and Shannon... that's just weird. And I find it kind of funny when people think McKenna and Aisling are boys' names. But, I do think that some people need to get over the unisex obsession, that's old hat...

Opinions!
Reply:I know these aren't very common, but I dont think any boys should be named Leslie, Carol, Sue, and I don't like Robin as a boys' name.

I don't like Bobbie/Bobby, Billy/Billie, or Charlie as a girl name.
Reply:Originally boys names that should now stay with girls: Evelyn, Kimberly, Hilary, Shannon, Marion, Avril, Beverly, Tracy
Reply:Girls:

Taylor

Ashley

Avery

Mackenzie

Bailey

Patty(I know a boy named Paddy lol)

Dylan

Spencer

Blake

Bobby

Joe

Charlie

Parker

Alex

Bryce

Reply:I like Devin, Riley, Charlie, and Dylan as girls names better

and i think

no Leslie for boys.
Reply:Names that sound wrong on girls to me:

Madison

Addison

Riley

Blake

Dylan

Ashton

Peyton

James

Aubrey
Reply:Most def, Taelor.

Most people spell it "Taylor", but my parents wanted be different.

%26amp; im completely fine with that.
Reply:I agree with for boys on:

Blake

Charlie

Bobby

I agree with all of your girl ones!

I also think

Courtney should stay a girls name

Reply:I agree with all the names you said and want to add a few.

Noah

Micah

James

all three of these I have been told are girls names

Reply:Hayden, Harper, Elliott, Evan for boys.
Reply:Ashley, Courtney, Lindsay and Dana on boys.
Reply:Leslie. This name should just be a woman's name not unisex.
Reply:I think Whitney should stay a girl name.

Reply:Actually i think Tyler is a horrid name anyways...along w/Taylor, Bailey and Reily.

personally i cannot stand to see Evan, Blake and Emmerson on girls.

equally i hate seeing Hayden and Kyle on girls. 2 of my 3 son's are named Kyle and Hayden. now all i need to complete my disgust is for Brandon to become a unisex name.

Hayden is a boys name i dont care how big a fan you are of the show Heros. My husband's great grandfather was named Hayden. he was a 6 ft WWII vet and i'd love to hear what he has to say about this Hayden for a girl craze.

as for Kyle..uck! it ticks my son off. he's 12 like he needs that right?

that's what Kylie or Kyla is for!

as for Kim...that actually is a masculine name if you're Asian.

Kim is a boys name over there..but here in the west, Kim-Kimberly is a girls name.

i honestly think Tristen is is a boys name...my middle name is Kristen so i just dont like the sound of Tristen on a girl.

Travis is a hideous name at any rate, so is Mackenzie. cannot stand the "mack" craze.

but there are some boys names that *I* consider unisex. just my opinion, but then opinion is all it really is when it comes to baby names.

i like Avery and Charlee for a girl. sorry i know Charlie is on your "no to girls" list, but hey it's what i like.
