I need a unisex name for a personal reason. Do you know of any that I can use? Or do you know of a website that has Jewish or biblical unisex names? I wanted a name that meant something special to me.
Are there any Jewish, Biblical, Hebrew unisex names?

Reply:Lots of Biblical and Jewish names are recognized in Israel as unisex names, although the original name was either a man's or a woman's only.
Haddas (讛讚住: myrtle) is a lovely unisex name, and so are Noam (谞注诐: pleasantness), Shy (砖讬: gift), Amit (注诪讬转: friend), Sharon (砖专讜谉: plain), Yarden (讬专讚谉: River Jordan), Ariel (讗专讬讗诇: lion of god), Eden (注讚谉: paradise/ gentleness), Haddar (讛讚专: majesty), Omer (注诪专: sheaf), Tomer (转讜诪专: palm tree), Stav (住转讬讜: autumn), Yuval (讬讜讘诇: rivulet), Doron (讚讜专讜谉: gift), Or (讗讜专: light), Lior (诇讬讗讜专: light of mine), Ori (讗讜专讬: my light)...

Reply:Zion is an awesome biblical name imo that works for a girl or a boy. It means "a sign, excellent".
Reply:I can't remember the website, but search for Hitchcock's Bible Names Dictionary. It has hundreds of names from the Bible and their meanings. It does not, however, tell which gender each applies to (although some are a given). I too wanted to find Bible names and found this list to be very helpful. And you can find some very unique names. Good Luck!
Reply:Micah - A Hebrew form of Michael, mentioned in the Bible
Michal - A brook. A biblical name
Michael - Like the Lord. One of the archangels in the Bible
I have a female cousin named Micah.
I always liked Michal for a girl, too - she was one of King David's wives.
Reply:The name Michael has both Male and Female versions of the name, it means "he who is like god" after the Arch Angel Michael
