Do you like the name Hadley for a girl? I love it but I have a friend who named her daughter this. I cannot think of another name I like as much. It needs to be unisex-like for me to like it. HELP!
Unisex names?
I love Hadley. Spunky, not completely expected -- or totally unfamiliar ;) -- and certainly not one of the overly-masculine "boy name for a girl" trendy crossovers (the "heather field" meaning is truly and classically unisex, after all). Just wonderful, all around. ;)
If you don't feel comfortable using it now that your friend has, however (and I commend you for considering that factor!), you might also like ...
Harper
Hartley
Rowan
Ainsley
Paisley
Morrigan
Adair
Dara
Bronte
Arden

And if you do love Hadley, it seems prudent to point out that most of the more common, overused unisex sort of choices -- such as Madison, Addison, Taylor, Avery, Aubrey, Mackenzie, Riley, Jordan, Jayden, Hayden, etc. (nearly all in the top 100) -- likely won't give you nearly the same refreshingly intriguing, unexpected style and feel as Hadley. I'd definitely lean toward something a bit less predictable, given that. Just a thought! ;)
