Unisex baby names needed?

Sam, Danny, Chris, Robin, Max.

Bit hard on your baby, though, a boy with a "girly" name is likely to be teased about it, and the same for a girl with a "boy's" name. Why not give them a longer name of the "right" sex, with a common unisex shortening for them and you to use if it suits their personality as they grow older? So, Samantha, Daniel, Christine, Maxine...

Unisex baby names needed?
Taylor, and Morgan.

Reply:Generally unisex names make boys sound effeminate and girls sound masculine. I would choose a gender specific name.

Reply:My stepsisters are called Sam and George. My stepmum didn't know whether they were going to be girls or boys so went for uni-sex names... could be Samuel/Samantha and George/Georgina

There is also

Lesley,

Jo,

Alex,

Jordan (of course this would bring up images of Jordan the model),

Daniel/Danielle,

Christopher/Christine..

Charlie/Charlotte

the list goes on...

I think it's a nice idea to find a name which can be adapted to boys or girls rather than the exact same name ie. George and Georgia/Georgina... That way the child can choose to go with the single sex full name or go for the unisex short name....
Reply:My son is called Finley - can also be Findlay or for a girl Finlay.
