Anyone know off any websites that show Jagdish as a female/unisex name.?

I had a daughter 3 months ago and as a tribute to my father I want to give her his first name as a middle name, but here in Denmark at the register office they said I can only use this name if I can prove other females are called by this name or it can be proven it is a unisex name.

ok i found the meaning, its indian or rather sandscrit for victory or ruler. so how about;


Jayanti also Indian and means victory but is a girls name.


or Jaya - Hindi, also meaning victory





I cant find any girls names begining with a j or that sound similar to jagdish that mean ruler sorry, (there's something freudian in that I think).

It says that it's only a masculine name.





BUT, I don't see why they won't let you name your baby girl Jagdish. I mean you have girls being named Michael (yes, I've met a girl Michael) and Michael's supposingly a boy name.

Im sorry but i can not find this anywhere at all! Maybe u cud make a website? Or perhaps find a similar name, or change the letters around in the name like an anogram to make a different name. Or maybe you could find a name with the same meaning.
