What do you think of boy names/unisex names for a girl?

Like Cameron, Casey, Avery, Ryann, Rae, Shawn, Dylan, etc.

?

What do you think of boy names/unisex names for a girl?
Funny you say unisex because my hubby and I had this argument over Avery. I loved it for our daughter but he said it was a boy's name and told me about some sports guy with that name. I told him that guy had a girl's name like Ashley or Kelly. lol I think some are cute and some arent. Good luck!
Reply:Avery is a top 50 girl name, I love it for a girl. Would not name a boy a top 50 girl name

Cameron I like for a girl, but as Kamryn, Kammi is so cute for a girl

Casey, I would use Kacie or Kasey for a girl, I would not use either spelling for a boy

Ryan, Dylan Are two common of boys names for girl

Ryann, spelled this way would assume it's a girl

Shawn, I think of a boys name

Riley is a common girl name, I would not name a boy that common of a girl name

Ansley Love for a girl

Emerson works for a girl

Reese girl, Reece boy

Devyn love for a girl

Jaden, Shawn, Dylan, Logan, Ryan hate for a girl, to common of boys names
Reply:Boy names? ie. Dylan, Ryan, Shawn? NO. They are called boy names for a reason! Unisex names, as in ones that have gained enough popularity on girls, are fine. Avery %26amp; Casey for example.
Reply:I grew up with a unisex name as a guy... I don't mind unisex names for girls. I think it is good to have a nontypical, rare name. And Shawn Johnson is awesome.
Reply:Of the names you listed, I think Casey, Avery, and Rae would pass without much confusion. The others are too traditionally masculine, in my opinion.
Reply:I would name a girl Hayden, Rylan, Morgan, and Peyton and that is it from the boy names. I know alot of unisex names. I won't even leave a list.
Reply:I love Avery, Rae, Taylor, Peyton, Luca, Marley, Presley, and Harley.
Reply:I love Cameron and Casey for unisex names. Also love Avery and Dylan for boys.
Reply:i like them ok but be sure the middle names are not.

i had a friend with masculine first and middle names and she always ended up in the boys side every school year.
Reply:I think it's tough enough to tell people that my pink-clad baby is indeed a girl. I would never use a unisex or male name for a girl.
Reply:Personally I like the unisex names for a girl but some people don't. Guess it just depends on personal preference
Reply:I wore this guys name tag at work bc I couldn't find mine. I was Ryan for the day and customers kept telling me how cool my name was. So now I kind of like it for a girl.
Reply:i like shawn. my daughters name is Loganne =)
