Do you like this unisex name?

Lately I've been on this kick about the name Shyler/Shylar. I don't know why I like it, but I do. I actually like the dutch spelling Schuyler, but traditionally it's pronounced (Sky-ler).





What do you think? Is it more of a boy or girl name? And is the pronunciation too far out there?

shylar could be for both! i cant decide if its more male prominent or female. it could really go as both

i like both but only for a boy. it would have to be on the right boy as to not be to girly tho. i really prefer the spelling Schuyler esp for a boy. i dont think the pronounciation would be 2 big a deal.

Reply:Shyler spelled this way seems like a boy. Shylar spelled this way seems more girly. But to me both names seem girly. But I personally dont like these names at all.
Reply:I definitely like Skylar for a girl, but if you hate it, then Shylar for a girl. It sounds kind of made up, slightly strange.
